Manufacturing of the SPAD CBL’s takes place in the sleepy Mpumalanga town of Amsterdam , South Africa .

Co-Ordinates to this tiny town: S 26’37.348: E030, 39.899’

The area is predominantly a Farming community, but the need to create more skills in the local community in the off season, spurned the SPAD Production Line to life.

All Planes are made with locally available products, from the nearby towns of Piet Retief and Ermelo.

With no designated Flying Club in Amsterdam , the testing of SPAD CBL has been hosted by the two closest clubs , those being in Piet Retief and Ermelo.
