SPAD CBL 40 I
This plane in now in revision 3 . The testing on it
in the development stages yielded answers to redesign the wing profile
to create better stability in the air.
Made from Aluminium and Plastic Composite Board ,the plane is light
, very robust and easy to fly.
Why SPAD ? , Its simple , You purchase the plane built
. In the event of a crash, you bend it straight and you are in the air
again. The beauty of this plane is its ease of use. One can fly very
slowly and mill in the air, or it can be taken to the extreme with prop
hangs and inverted flight .

Choice of Motor is GMS .40 two Stroke. This motor is affordable and reliable 11/5 & 10/6 props
are used.
The SPAD CBL Team are distributors of GMS Motors for
the Mpumalanga town of Amsterdam.
Radio Equipment of choice is JR.
The Servos and Receivers are well suited to the design of the plane , fitting very comfortably in
the U Channel fuselage.
The Idea of Spad is also to be cost effective , so
there is no need for expensive radio equipment.
